I realise that I’ve neglected the “About Me” page for the longest time. Well it’s not as if any one would really be reading this, since most of the people visiting this blog would be my own circle of friends.

But being the self-indulgent little ass that I am, I’ll just talk about myself here again.

? Why the URL: Just ain’t born typical

I love the Kills and I absolutely worship Alison “VV” Mosshart. She is the epitome of awesomeness and I secretly wish that I can be her.

And obviously, being the very ordinary person that I am,  all I ever want to be is to be extraordinary. So far, I’ve only gotten “weird” from people I’ve met.

That’s a pretty good start, right?

? Who the deuce is: Arien Valo

Okay I’m not some schizo who preys on young, naive children over the Internet by using a screen name so effectively over all different mediums.

Long story short.

Arien = Arienette = MM forum screen name = Song by Bright Eyes

Valo = Mrs Valo = Ville Valo = HIM = Greatest Band Alive

Arien Valo = my alter-ego;  someone who’s not afraid to take the leap or the plunge. Either ways work for me.

? So if I’m forced to describe myself in less than 50 words:

Arien L is a full-time librarian and part-time student. She’s also a closet tree-hugger and animal lover. Arien has worked in the creative industry for a couple of years, from account servicing to events management. She secretly wishes that there were more roaming farm animals and greenlands in Singapore.
