It was meant to be a nice dinner, somewhere convenient (i.e. near the Gan’s and Ian’s workplace) and we happen to stop by this neat little joint called Kichn.

The most awesome thing other than the range of color pencils we get to use to order our foods and drinks with, is the fact that the owners are very friendly and damn on the ball with social networks.

Check it out. They’ve already followed HOTG’s twitter, put up some of our ‘masterpieces’ on their Facebook page and pretty much showed us that they’re just a bunch of awesome folks. And yes, being the foursquare addict I am sometimes, I had a #facepalm moment when Luc told me that they were already on foursquare and was offering some discount or something. DAMNNIT. It occurred to me to foursquare that weird pub but not the food place. Silly Silly Me.

Anyway, Ian just got back from London after visiting his girlfriend and he was so sweet to bring gifts back as well. This coming from the guy who went over to do household chores, cook and cut/paste stuff for his gf and didn’t really go around doing touristy or shopping much. Thanks AH LIAN! Already filled up 3 – 4 pages of the album with pics of HOTG crew yo.

It’s always a blast hanging out with these guys. But I think the quotes of the night shall be ranked in this order…

in 3rd place: “I tell ‘cher you take all the color pencils”

in 2nd place: “The kangkong got stuck in his 4skin”

in 1st place: “WOAH! 20 chances? Win already.”

The epic moment of the night was when all four dudes were waving their arms in the air madly to get our bill, because one of the nice ladies said, “if you need anything, just wave”. Even ALEX got into the action. That moment killed me, I had to put my head on the table for support from laughing.

Good food, great company, nice Asahi beer. Life ain’t too bad after all. <3
