Packed a simple picnic for baby to ‘celebrate v-day’.

Technically we both don’t believe in the bullshit of a commercialized wallet-ripping festivities, but figured theres no need for a reason to be sweet any time any day any way!

So I bought sandwiches, bagels, drinks, strawberries(chui ones) and a flower. (Which I hope is still alive today) and went over. We headed to Sentosa…and being the wusses that we are, only managed to finish the food on our make-shift mat before retreating to a more comfortable (and shaded) Cafe Del Mar to grab some drinks.

Domo was obviously enjoying himself.

Baby got a haircut too. He looks 24 now.

We had our mojitos, went around and took some pictures. Tried to be touristy and stopped by the Resort World area, everything is still under construction so no shows there.

Saw the huge-ass Universal Studios ball… I like it! Need to go on the rides once its open.

Then we went down to Chinatown, popped by to visit Afiq at his stall (CNY bazaar). Go pop by and say hi if you’re there. He’s selling imported apparels from Tom Tailor, Everlast, Zara blazers (for ladies) , etc. And going at a relatively lower retail price too! (they’ve got direct import that’s why).

Eventually we got tired out, lugging the picnic basket around and our cameras. So popped by Peninsula before we went back home for dinner.

And….jeng jeng jeng. We had to go check out the A&A bags upstairs and the inevitable happened.

My new camera bag!! (one and only also) picts here don’t do it justice.

The uncle at the shop gave a very generous discount and the size/shape/design of the bag was perfect for me. I HAD TO GET IT. So anyway I wld feel less jumpy whenever I brought the cameras out (*ahem* my brother’s camera, not mine. He specifically mentioned this yest. I.E. Minolta, Nikon,the SLRs)

Half of this is paid for by my darling bf. Thanks!!!!!  And yes, I’m damn happy about this bag and can’t wait to bring it out. It fits my toy cameras snugly and/or can fit the FE2, X-700 + 1 lens. Woo!

Also has enough space for film, cleaning cloth, my wallet/coin pouch, keys and phone.

Perfect right? No more slugging my poor cameras in a makeshift cam bag anymore! Yeay!
